So far, so good.  Picture quality is better now that one of the multicasts has been shut down.  Audio OTA is OK. Don't hear any pops or dropouts.  Disapointed that only one movie commercial is HD.  Had to laugh, the ref held a remedial course on whats heads and whats tails.  I was waiting for one the the players interjecting "wait, your going too fast".

Hmm...Volume is a bit higher on TWC than OTA

I usually have problems with CBS, but everything looks perfect so far tonight!

Seeing a lot more movie ads in HD as the game goes on and I'm loving it!  I can't wait for the day when this is the norm!

I'm seeing about 35 to 40% of the ads in HD...just sorta wished that our local station could have had their 5.1 installed by today as the audio is pretty flat.  I didn't get into the game until the end of the second quarter, usually the announcers and crowd noise gets me going, so I had to wait until some Offense Happened.

Non-Movie commercials in HD!
I saw a Chevy one, (kids with bars of soap in their mouths) This is a great thing to see, especially since I do tv commercials!
I hope to see more!

Jessica Simpson in HD at the start of halftime! The picture was so clean i could actually see how stupid she is!

Is anyone else having glitches with the halftime show? Audio hiccups all over the place.

davezen2

I'm hearing little glitches with the sound at halftime as well.

Audio glitches gone after the halftime show... looks like a network thing.

Yeh,

The show was weak, except for Janet's right breast getting air time on national TV.

We watched that over in slow motion and there's no doubt in our minds that Justin ripping her top open was intentional.

What the heck was that????

GREAT GAME OTHERWISE!!!!!

Jessica Simpson in HD at the start of halftime!

Huh?

I now see that FCC chairman Powell has ordered an investigation into the matter, maybe that will send the message of what's acceptable in prime time TV.  That, or he stepped away for halftime and just wants to see for himself

The wardrobe failure was about the funniest thing I heard today, but as you hear all of the follow up, there seemed to be plans in someone's head that this was going to happen as there were a few other subtle comments that could lead you to believe that this wasn't spontaneous.  It will be interesting to see what happens as a result, and whether or not anyone at MTV or CBS had prior knowledge.

I suspect Timberlake may have been following orders, sad he couldn't use his own brain to do the right thing.
