Yet another antenna question

Ok, this one is different, I swear. I am having Larry from Kemmer TV coming out to install a Channel Master 3677. It will be 2.5  stories up when all is said and done. My location is right off of 69th and Bluemound. He was saying I can expect not to get 33 without a rotor and that 46 may be difficult to get. Currently I get a strong signal from 46 (around 80-90 indoors on a DBT) but I have to reposition the antenna slightly. I can get a 44-51 signal on 33, but that is putting the DBT in "the spot", aka the only spot in the entire house it will get that signal from. Every other spot will top out at 27, maybe 33.

So based on this, are there any indications as to what I can expect? Will I have problems with 46? Is 33 completely ungettable? Anyone have troubles with either 18 and/or 24 where you would think you wouldn't?

I realize I will have my answers next week when he comes, I was just wondering if anyone had insight right now (a slight condition of having no patience. :p )

Actually going to the new antenna will probably ruin your chances of getting Fox6 digital.  This is due to the fact that your receiver will cut back the AGC because it will see high power on the adjacent channel (FOX is 33 and ABC is 34).  I used to be able to receive 33 at times until 12 went on the air with my tower top antenna.  Just wait 3 years when 33 really gets on the air...until then  suffer with analog I guess.

yeah, this was another thing I was fearing.. I don't want to use a rotor because the entire point of this is touch free HD. My Tivo comes the first week of April and I want to get solid constant signals on it for uninterrupted HD recording. If I have to swing the antenna around to record, well, I might as well just watch it live. :(

I keep hearing progress on the Fox tower on here.. maybe by the time my Tivo gets here the new transmitter will be up on their main tower..... :bang:

What about 46, 25, and 61? Should I have any problems with those that anyone knows of?
