Remember, CBS 58 had technical difficulty with their DTV transmitter last week.  I hope it is not relative and having the same problems again.  I as a electronic technician know how stubborn electronics can.  Also with the cold weather the antenna can be affected by the cold weather in some way.

It's back, but now the audio is cutting out periodically.

Still having lockups and a drop outs... :bang:

I know 58 has been having problems, but the Super Bowl will arguably be the biggest event in CBS58 HD history to date. I'm sure Jim and the ownership at Wiegel are aware of just how important it will be to get this fixed by Feb 1. But this is the dress rehearsal, and it ain't good. :(

Making me nervous about having folks over for the Super Bowl.

I've got DTV, and 58-1 never came in OTA for the game yesterday.  My brother-in-law came over to watch the game in HD, and here i'm left hanging...  Did everyone end up getting the game?  I was left with "Searching for signal"!

Things eventually settled down, and we got a good feed for most of the remainder of the game... but it was touch and go at the beginning...

I'm still not able to receive 58-1. I have SIR TS160 and a roof mounted antenna.  I don't have a problem receiving 4-1, and 12-1, but can't get 58-1.  1-1 doesn't show up on my guide so I can't even try that.  I live in Tosa so I should be able to receive 58-1, right?  I haven't really played around too much with the receiver menus, so any guidance on where to start would be great.  It doesn't look like i'm getting any signal strength on 58-1....

Any help would be appreciated, I've got people coming over the game Sunday!

I wonder if you have a scan problem since 58 chose to map their digital signal to 1-1, 1-2 etc. You might be looking in the wrong place. Certainly where you are you should have no problem getting 46. Try a rescan and then look for channel 1.

I tried a rescan and the first channel I got was 4, I didn't get any 1- 's.  I used to have 1-6 on the channel guide, but now I don't.  I don't know if that means anything?  I also don't get 46...I'm not sure what that is anyway.

I'm up and running... I went up on the roof (in snow and cold!) and replaced the old antenna piece that connects the antenna to the cable and adjusted the direction.  I got down the the tv and i'm at 100% on 4-1, 12-1 and 58-1!  Bring on the game!

Thanks for all the help guys I really appreciate it.
