I used a Audio Authority 1177 in an install and it worked great. It passed PCM, Dobly Digital, and DTS just fine. The auto detect was simple to use and setup.

I bought it a long time ago from the above link. (Copperbox) It may have been slightly less at preorder. Works great. Outputs either coax or optical no matter what the inputs are.
