The Fox Net games will be widescreen like their football games.

What is FSN HD?
Fox Sports Net HD ("FSN HD") is the high definition service that offers select professional games in HD from Fox Sports Net ("FSN"), your premier destination for home team sports. These games will be simulcast from your primary FSN network but will have better clarity, a widescreen format and Dolby 5.1 sound. Please call your local cable operator or satellite provider to find out if FSN HD is available in your area.

Which regionals are currently scheduled to produce high-definition programming?
Half of Fox's 12 owned-and-operated regionals are slated to produce local high-definition programs: Fox Sports Net North, Fox Sports Net South, Fox Sports Net Southwest, Fox Sports Net West, Fox Sports Net West 2 and Sunshine Network

What will be included in the FSN HD service?
FSN HD features live broadcasts of select local professional events, pre and post game shows, as well as other FSN programming in 720p.

Which teams will have HD games on FSN HD in their respective regions?
In the NBA, the Spurs, Lakers, Timberwolves, Magic, Bucks and Grizzlies. In the NHL, the Kings, Wild, Lightning and Carolina Hurricanes. In the MLB, the Astros, Brewers and Dodgers.

About how many HD games per each team will FSN HD produce?
FSN HD will produce approximately ten NBA and ten NHL events for the local teams. FSN HD will also provide up to seventeen HD telecasts of the local MLB teams once the 2004 season begins in April.

How many HD games is FSN producing overall?
FSN HD will produce approximately 150 games according to the current schedule, which translates into about 450 hours of locally produced HD programming. That makes FSN one of the most prolific producers of local HD programming nationwide.

What production format will FSN HD use?
FSN HD will broadcast the games in 720 Progressive format.

Will the HD games be on the same channel as Fox Sports Net?
No. They'll appear on a separate channel. The standard definition telecast of the same game will appear on your primary Fox Sports Net line-up so no one misses a game, even if you don't have a digital television set or the capability to receive high-definition broadcasts.

Will the games cost extra for fans?
No. FSN HD is available at no additional charge.
