I just got my HD box (Samsung SIR-T151) this past week, and have been able to receive, at various times, all of the available DT stations with the exception of FOX. Today I went to Radio Shack and bought a signal attenuator which seems to help a bit, but now am unable to tune in ABC. I've tried re-scanning for channels several times to no avail. Is anybody else having trouble with 12-1 or is it just me?

I'll note that my trouble getting 34 began immediately after i was able to tune in 35 for the first time. Is the fact that these channels are adjacent mean anything at all?

Thanks.

Hm.
This post probably belongs in the technical issues area.

[/SIZE] Done. ;)

BTW -

Here in Menomonee Falls, I'm getting 12-1 just fine.

I've never had a problem with WISN DT I have the Sammy 165 box and live in Waukesha.  Always comes in @ 100%.  I did have a problem with 10-1,2,3,4&5 a while back but I came to the conclusion my box was overheating which can be a problem with the Sammy's.  I opened up the glass doors and got some air flowing and *poof* it was back on.

Signal is definately on and strong here in Waukesha

Well, this is frustrating. Just scanned again and still no 12-1. Everything else comes in great.

Hmph. There are two playoff games on Saturday I'll be missing if I don't get this figured out.

Alright, problem solved. I moved my antenna so it's squished against the glass of my north-facing (thank god for that) living room window. Signals are all up in the 80s now, except CBS, and I'm sure people walking by on the street will enjoy the wonderful view of my RS double-bowtie.
