Does anyone know if they make these at all? I need another optic hookup for my PS2 but there is only room for one on my reciever (one coax, one optic-cable box is coax, DVD is optic). If there is one, would sound quality be affected?

Tanks!

Actually it sounds like you want a combiner.  If you find one I would be interested in hearing about it.  I have yet to see one.  Howerver, there are optical to coax converters which may work for you. http://page.auctions.shopping.yahoo.com/ca/auction/53592368?aucview=0x13

Radioshack had these a few years ago. They should still have them. It was basically a big dial with one opt out and 4 opt ins.

You might want to try this:
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?CategoryID=cat08132&id=1064000347511&skuId=6033758&type=product&ref=09&loc=01

It's called a Universal System Selector Pro
It's a video switcher that Best Buy carries.  It has 3 inputs for Opitcal audio, as well as being able to switch Component video.
It has a total of 8 inputs, but only 3 optical inputs.  Either way, that's 3 more than you could have used before.

It's on sale at bestbuy.com till the new ad comes out for 89, free shipping, and there's a $20 gift card with it (I think that expires when the new ad comes out on Sunday as well).   I have one, works good for video.  I have not had the need to try the audio yet, but I can't see any reason why it wouldn't work.

I had the same issue and bought a Zektor two months ago.  It's a bit pricey but performs very well.  It works great with a programmable remote too.
