Just a note for those of you using SBC DSL, a lot of upgrades were recently (Dec 2003) done to their system.  Many users are reporting average download speeds approaching 1.5mbs.  Good news especially if you've called and got re-rated for the $26.95 per month rate, with a 1 year contract.
