I live in the SW Corner of Waukesh (city) I used to pick up 10-1 to 10-5 without a problem on my sammy box.  Now it is always just searching for signal and when i did a digital channel rescan only 10-1, 10-3 & 10-4 show up.  I have a attic mounted antenna and pick up 4@100%, 12@100% 58@70%.  I know they don't do HD on those channels but i would still like to get them.  I do get 36-1 fine as well.

Did they do something with the signal? Or should i be looking at my box for the problem?  Antenna?

Does it not travel as far in Winter?

I don't know when I lost it but it is now gone.

Any ideas?

I'm on the Waukesha/Genesee border and getting them all on my Sony DirecTV HD box.

The only change in WMVS-DT was adding 10-6 a couple weeks ago.  However that should not have a bearing on how you have been receiving them.

Or could it?

Just when I gave up on getting them in.....they appear again and everything is fine.  I believe my sammy box was getting to hot so i oppened up the cabinets and now all is good.

Thanks for the replies though.

I don't know whatever happened to 10-6?  Now 10-6 is gone and back to 10-1 thru 10-5 again.  Looks like some storm activity in Western upper Michigan on a map shown on 10-5.

Why was the sound quality so much better on 10-6?  Shouldn't the concerts and other music they air sound that good?  Whenever I watch the MPTV digital channels the sound seems weak.

I wonder when they are going to move the Dolby Digital 5.1 equipment from 10-1 to 36-1  I remember once a long time ago I got a 5.1 signal from them.  That was back when the HD was sometimes on 10-1.
