CBS will broadcast live coverage of Super Bowl XXXVIII in high definition, the network has confirmed.

HDTV versions of many local CBS affiliates are available on digital cable, digital terrestrial television, and digital satellite. Check out the CBS HDTV local station coverage map to see whether the local affiliate in your area broadcasts a channel in HD.

The game, to broadcast on February 1, will be surrounded by a wealth of pre-game and post-game programmes on the network. This will be the fifteenth Super Bowl to be broadcast by CBS.

That means WDJT-DT which I receive OTA will of course air it in HD just like other CBS offerings.

QuoteAny word if the CBS playoff games will all be HD as well?  Please please please. ;) [/B]

If the regular season is any indicator, they will be airing 1 game/wk in HD.  That would mean that only 1 of their playoff games wouldn't be in HD.
