Looked around the net a lil and have heard a lot about a DVD called 'Avia' and doing a 56pt convergence. Does anyone have any experience with doing any of these? Is it hard to do?

The Avia disk works well to get your user menu adjustments set pretty good, but you don't need it to do convergence- most TVs will have an internal grid you can use.

I've never done convergence on a Toshiba, but I believe in another thread you said you were returning it for a Sony 51WS510 correct?

Doing convergence on the 51WS510 is very similar to doing it on the HW40 (which I have), and really isn't very difficult once you get the hang of it.  I usually touch up my convergence once a month or so.

If you need any help or want more info on doing this, feel free to PM me.

A great site you should check out is:

If you pay the $15 to become a member you'll have access to all the "tweaks" sections of the forum which pretty much take you step by step through doing different tweaks on your TV.

Sounds good.

Yeah, I'm gonna go try for the Sony. I made this thread before I found out Tosh's were crap. Mine was just especially crappier.
