Tom, I have that same discontinued Yagi from Radio Shack, only it is mounted on my chimmney with a rotor.  I have found it to be very directional, and if it isn't turned just right, I have a tough time picking up the low power and long distance stuff.

I don't know where you are located, but when Fox finally moves over to their other tower, you should be able to get them with a much stronger signal.

If I turn my antenna to pick up Fox, the others drop off a bit, but when I turn to the others, Fox will completly dissapear.

From Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Wed. 10-23-2002:

QuoteLocal CEO Found Asphyxiated

Local CEO and Founder of Trivera.com Tom Snyder was found asphyxiated last night in his home media room. A note left nearby was cryptic with only "6 DTV" scrawled on it. Chief investigator Andy Potos said Tom was bluer than he'd ever seen anyone before. Adding to the mystery was a Radio Shack double bowtie antenna clutched in his right hand. Reached for comment, Fox 6 spokesman Knoll Power said in an unrelated matter that "they finally got to us. We'll put up the damn antenna" Services will be held at Flanner's Funeral Home.

That's really bad....I'm mean really bad....but an accurate description of the effect Faux6 has on us........you know the more I read Faux, the more I realize that 480p enhanced wide-screen is nothing more than a DVD...but I've not seen 480p just 480i there...so what the H***.....

That won't be until at least Fall 2003 according to the story I was told by them. It was supposed to be "better" two weeks ago after the new transmitter. I still get no signal whatsoever. They're not covering 7 circular miles distance and the FCC hasn't done a thing. Can you sense the frustration.

Salma Hayek, ER, and CSI looked great in HD this past week on the + side.

If we know that is the fact, then quit whinning, put it on the roof and get a rotor!

Obviously, they are running roughshod over the spirit of their market responsibility.

But either they are or they are NOT in compliance with the letter of their current license responsibilities. Do we know for sure?
