Channel 12 - WISN

Channel 12 - I hope you are listening...

I'm trying to watch programming on your station tonite (the LAL-HOU NBA game)... but I'm finding it unwatchable (especially the ditigal feed) due to:

THE STUPID BLUE "12" and the big red cap on it!  Between the ABC scoreboard, the ABC logo, and Channel 12 with the big red cap, the whole bottom 1/3 of the screen is taken up!

Yes, I realize this is Christmas - so please give us a gift and take off the junk off the bottom of the screen.  I know it is channel 12, as I have to put "12-1" into my remote for your channel to appear.

At least the ABC logo is not as obnoxios, as it is see through.  The 12 logo and cap have to go!

Great post...I agree, that 12 logo with the giant cap was WAY OVER THE TOP.  Actually that 12 logo even when it is "transparent" is bad since it competes with the ABC logo for valuable screen space.

I suppose some guy at 12 thinks it is a good PR move, since people are talking about it.  But actually it just reinforces negative opinions about a station.

Of course, an equal complaint would be towards ABC, who apparently can only broadcast one high-def game per day.

I was sure thinking the Dallas-Sacramento game would be in high-def, but it wasn't.  I thought I had read somewhere that David Stern said most NBA games were taped in HD, but he must have been referring to playoff games.  Same goes for the Cav's-Magic game, not being in HD either.
