Has anyone considered doing a petition or something similar to send to WITI?? Might be a waste of time, but any action is better then just grousing about it. It can't hurt anyway. At least we'd feel like we tried.

What do you propose the petition would say?

a) Get that dTV thing going
b) Get someone on MilwaukeeHDTV.org

?

Has anyone else heard about FOX in New York signing some deal to go true HD (1080i) in 2004 ?  And we don't even have an analog upconvert... are we that small of a market?

Although FOX in NY isn't all that fantastic either since they are already using fully animated and IRRITATING banners over their "Enhanced Definition" programming.

FOX has stated that starting in the Fall of 2004, FOX network will provide a 720p signal to the affiliates and will show at least 50% of its primetime programming in 720p HD.

Currently FOX5 WNYW-DT 44 New York runs two streams. One in 480p for themselves and one 480i for sister station UPN9 WWOR-DT 38 that lost its transmitter site on WTC until WWOR gets is DT transmitter up when the new master TV antenna system on Empire State Building next spring is activated.
