City of Industry, Calif. – The Westinghouse brand name will emerge next week on a line of LCD TVs manufactured by a major Chinese factory.

Westinghouse Digital is the name of the U.S. sales company, based here, which will launch the line, both through a direct sales Web site, and through a deal 'with a major East Coast retailer' that will be announced next week.

According to a company spokesman, the line will initially include four models in the 15-inch, 20-inch, 27-inch and 30W-inch screen sizes. All will offer a 13-frame picture-in-picture function and audio-swap function among its more unusual features.

At press time the company would only release pricing on a 30W-inch HDTV monitor model (W3301), which was listed with 1,280 by 720 pixel resolution at a $3,000 suggested retail price.

Other models include the 15-inch W31501 with 1,024 by 768 resolution, the 20-inch W32001 with 640 by 480 standard definition resolution, and the 27W-inch W32701 with full 1,280 by 720 high definition resolution.

All models list HD component video and DVI-HDCP inputs.
