I was unable to watch today's Packer Game at home (Dear Lukes's Baptism Party). How did the game look on Faux??

The Law

Terrible.  Not TWCs fault.  It's my 65incher.  It looks no better than SD except it's widescreen.  Fox is OK for TV shows - but for football - it's just wider.

The Edge enhancement was just painful.

IMHO it breaks down like this

any shot comprised of primarily small details (ie most shots at the snap, most live shots on the field, etc) are completely destroyed by the low resolution and edge enhancement...

closeup player shots, some replays, and a few other instances the picture looked very good...

basically I agree that edge enhancement kills most of the shots... a shame they have to take into account viewers with NTSC TVs.. it should be separate cameras.. oh well, this is the last season of Fox Widescreen anyway.

what's it going to be next season?
