WDJT Channels 1-4, 1-5 & 1-6

Just a question I have about WDJT.  My HDTV tuner says 1-4, 1-5 & 1-6 are WDJT sub bands or side bands or what ever the proper term is, but they never seem to use them.  Are these channels ever used and if so when and for what?

WMVS 10-1, 2, 3, 4 appear to be the same type of situation, but they are used and usually have different programming, but sometimes they all have the same show on all 4 channels?

Any info on this subject would be appreciated!

Paul you will see these used during March Madness.  They will have a number of college basketball games on.  It gives you a choice of which college game you want to watch.
