Most everyone knows that I got blasted by lightning last summer.  So I thought I send some pictures to my photo sight so you  can see what I have and how it's installed.  On the interior photo you can see two RG-6 cables on the lower left going to the protectors grounded to the Copper Assy to provide a good ground.  Also included in the pictures are my tower and even my Ham Shack....enjoy and here's the link.  Just click on the Tower Photos group.

Maybe you could loan out your tower to Fox6....

Nice setup.  I'm very impressed.

 Nice install Gregg.  Can't tell for sure by the pictures, but it looks like you are trying to lineup your copper bonding strip with some sort of ground rod.  FWIW; the copper strip(s) should be installed without twists... straight down to the bonding bar just above grade.  From there you can jump over to your ground rods.
Did you get a tube of that copper bonding material?  Sheesh... that stuff gets all over the place!

The 8" ground strap (copper) goes all the way down to the ground where it is transitioned to the tower and the ground rods.  The curves are in there because you don't want tight 90 degree turns.

And yes I used all that slimey stuff...what a mess.  There is also a 4" strap going all the way to my Ham Station bench and if you look closely at the back of the bench you'll see more copper that all the radios are grounded to.
