Could HDTV programming be beginning to mature??

What I thought was more interesting is the news item that stated that the FCC has given a Phily TV station the right to close down its analog transmission anytime before 2006 and to force cable to carry its digital signal.  They might become the first station in the country to become pure digital only (in transmission at least).  Long live the road to digital....
