HD WB in Madison

Well, after seeing that channel 57 in Madison (according to TitanTV.  Here is what their site says.  WB   32   WBUW-DT   Oct 30 2003) was looking to put in their digital equipment sometime by the end of this month, I decided to call them to ask them for a status on their HDTV signal.  

Here's what the person who answered the phone said.  

"Hello, I was wondering when you might be going live with your HDTV signal."

"Hmm... HDTV??"

"Ok, well would there be someone that could tell me where your broadcast antenna is or what the projected range of your current signal or the digital signal might be?"

"We don't give out any information like that to ANYONE."  (There was actually emphasis on that.  I thought she was going to start yelling at me.)

After that they finally transfered me to an engineer for the station, who didn't give me his name.  He stated that it would be up and running... sometime in the future.  

Not a great outlook for watching Angel in HDTV in Madison.

Oh, well.
