Attn: Current 6000 Owners

Just read this on AVS forums:

Well, the installer has come and gone... I got the 6000u and 8psk module, but the 8vsb module is being shipped from Dish. When I called, I spoke to a very helpful CSR (Kathy, who has 6 kids) who explained that, effective 9/20, any 6000/6000u owner who wants an 8vsb cartridge can get one for free , plus $8.95 s&h. Since I was already expecting to get one for free as part of the package deal, this isn't a big deal, but it's very good news for other 6000 owners.

I just called and gor the 8vsb for just the S&H!  If the are any 6000 owners who don't currently have the 8vsb, call now while the offer is still good.

Thanks Sparkman.  I just called and got mine.  I had not noticed it on any of the other forums because I have been busy so thanks for posting it here.
