A couple of guys at flanner's are ISF certified. Be wary and ask questions though (not of only Flanner's but of anyone). ISF certification does not guarantee quality. It just means they sat through a seminar for a few hours. Make sure that they will look at things like overscan, geometry, color temperature, focus, color push, etc. For overscan they should also check overscan bouncing and geometry is everything from actual geometry to screen position, to linearity, etc.

Many ISF guys will come in and do very little more than calibrate with Avia. That will be $275, thank you. :(

I sent flanners an e-mail and they stated they couldn't do my set because they only calibrate sets they sell and they don't sell hitachi any suggestions
thanks

When I bought my Sony 1272 projector, it was on Ebay from a guy in central WI.  He had just got ISF certified a week or 2 before I bought it, so he was showing me some of the equipment (this was about 2 years ago).  Anyhow, his name is Eric Lang, and his company is called Projection Systems Inc, and he's in Weston, WI.  He's got a website at http://www.crtcinema.com  and you can go onto the page listed as "Company" to get more info about what he can do for you.  On Ebay, he's user  "projectionsystemsinc".  I'm not sure if he travels much to do calibrations (I think he got certified so he could pre-setup the projectors for people who tell him the distance the projector would be from the screen in their houses), but he's worth calling to talk to.  I think he did installations for a long time before getting into the refurbishing of the projectors.
