I could have sworn that the press releases about the games broadcast by CBS on Direct TV and over-the-air, were going to be HDTV and 5.1 surround. Does CBS-Mil. not have the capability to transmit or wha? Don't get me wrong it looks fantastic but the sounds could be alot better. Come on Faux, are you watching what the rest of us are? The Packer game(great game) wasn't even in widescreen :bang: , whats the deal? I hope the pack isn't up agianst any CBS HD games, it will be a toss up. Lets gp Faux, get it together.

Is anyone else getting alot of drop-outs of the CBS HD game. The  hole first qtr. and most of the sec. was perfect, but then it just started dropping out. The signal was jumping all over the place for about 15 mins. (now its back on solid with a signal of 44). This same thing seemed to happen last week also, I couldn't get a solid steady signal from Mil. but was getting a pretty good signal from WFRVDT (I think thats green bay but not to sure).

Its comin pretty solid now you might want to give it another chance. Well, we'll see how long this lasts for.

Packers won't be in Wide-screen till October at the earliest... Fox has determined who will be their A&B games through the end of Sept., but no Packer games. Hoping they'll and A or B game come Otcober...

TWC customers (and the handful of people who can get their OTA digital signal) will see that game in Enhanced Definition Widescreen. And who knows.. if the planets align, maybe Fox 6 will have their antenna moved to the big stick by then, and we can ALL see it.

As far as 58 in 5.1, I think they're still waiting for the equipment from CBS. CBS provided the gear for the largest markets, with the rest following in due time.

I've had my HD equipment for a year and a half.  During that time, and especially during the last 4 months, I find that CBS 58 is not available to viewers in Racine/Kenosha who use an antenna on their roof.  Apparently, CBS 58 serves only those who have cable as the signal is just too weak for those of us watching OTA.  I don't know if they'll ever boost their signal.  I estimate that I can receive a useable signal only 10% of the time which is useless.  I live on the south side of Racine, on a hill, with a RS antenna mounted 5' above the roofline of my 2 story house, on a rotor.  All other channels from Milwaukee and Chicago come in perfectly, all the time, so I know that the problem lies not with my equipment.
