I'm dying to get a Tivo... but just wanted to wait till they made an HD one. When "they" role out Hi Def video recorders later this year,  I'll be first in line.

But I have a question... will those replace my DTC-100, or does it go inline somewhere between?

This bad boy's going to have 4 tuners - 2 Directv and 2 digital OTA. Still haven't heard how they plan to integrate analog OTA. 250gb hard drive - good for about 20 hours of HD recording.
It will not only replace the DTC-100, It'll probably chase it out of the house. Definitely the complete STB/Tivo package.

Unfortunately, it sounds like March '04 is the current target for release. Lots of info. and speculation here:
