While I won't let up that I wish WDJT should at least drop one of the multi-casts, I have to say that CSI: Miami looked downright awesome last night. HD has really lost some of its newness for me. Now I watch it as "TV" and DirecTV just kind of looks like crap. However, the transfer CBS did on CSI: Miami was really a leap beyond most transfers we had last season. In particular the shots of the Everglades where you could see every last leaf and reed. WOW! If even 75% of the film-to-HD transfers we see this year on are of this quality we are in for a treat.

Did they show a new episode or just the CSI-Vegas/Florida combo pilot from a while ago?

borghe

It was the premiere episode of the new series.

I echo those sentiments...

In two words:

Yeah, but was it the old premiere or a new one?   Did it feature honey and a limo driver?

I enjoyed the show... 'cept some of the action shots seemed artificial. It's hard to explain, but kinda like in football or racing when they use high speed cameras. This may have ben because of the multicasting!?
