If you are going to get Directv HD...just thought I'd let you know that they have a sale on the Sony SAT-HD200.  Just got one this week,  the price they charged was $699.99 and a 5 year Service Contract (definitely worth the money) is only $37.99.

The service contract is worth it...because I got the SAT-HD200 and the Hitachi 65SWX20B for free in exchange for my broken RCA P61310 that was under their Service Contract (got hit by lightning).

gb492. I would not get too excited TW have said many times it was coming next month. But we have yet to see ESPN HD on TW line-up. I was asking mhz40 if he could verify that information that I was told by Patricia and Nicole.

mhz40 You are absolutely right. I called back to TW to see if I could get more info on In HD and both Patricia and Nicole said it is not going to be part of their line-up for a while. But both girls said that they got a E-mail (this month)regarding ESPN HD. They said it is coming in October. You seem like you know what is going on over their at TW. So any info regarding that would be helpfull. I hate to ask for information on what is suppose to happen, but I am about to spend $800.00 to get Hi-Def directv. So I can get ESPN HDTV. But if it is coming on Oct. I would like to stay with TW. Any info would help. Thanks!!!

I've been in training most of the week, but tried keeping up on e-mail during the breaks...except for today.  As of Thursday, I don't remember seeing anything regarding ESPN HD.
To be honest (as I always strive to be here...), and although I hate to say it (cuz I don't like pushing customers away)--- if you have to have your ESPN HD right now, satellite is your only option. Since TW to date has never mentioned the words "ESPN" and "HD" in the same sentence, I can't guess what the overall timetable is for launching it. :o

Way to go Milwaukee TWC!  Thanks for being the last in the country to bring us a service.

BTW, didn't they originally tell us that InHD would be available in the Fall?

As far as I know, "Fall" was the announcement and "Fall" is still the target.  The Customer Contact Rep's response is IMO, in error.

Thanks for a response.

When I said INHD will be available this winter, I meant sometime between the months of October and November.

We understand our high-definition customers would like more programming choices, however, agreements have be made with each channel and network before we can offer the channel on our lineup. Each Time Warner Cable division have different agreements with each network that is offered.

As soon as more information is available about when a channel is available, we will let the public know.
