I have just purchased a Directv system, and was wondering if anybody had experience with the quality of reception in Greendale, WI. for OTA HD locals.

Welcome to the forums, Kevin!

I am in the M's - good reception all around (except Faux6, of course) with an old omnidirectional roof-mounted antenna. I also have an amplified Channelmaster UHF on the same mast. Our house is on a hill, so rotor positioning gets me most of the Chicago stations when the leaves are off the trees. Nothing from Madison, however. Much bigger hill to the northwest!

If you don't have an outdoor antenna already installed, you might want to consider that fine work of metal art known as the Radio Shack double bow-tie indoor antenna. I here it's being stocked again, and RS has a great return policy if it doesn't work for you.

Look forward to hearing the sound of your jaw dropping when you get your first look at the PBS HD demo :D
