From CED Broadband:

Charter Communications and Comcast Corp. continue to rollout high-definition TV services to new markets.

Charter will launch HDTV next Tuesday (Sept. 2) in Madison, Wis., according to the Capital Times. For about $9.95 per month, Charter will offer a high-def lineup that includes HBO, Discovery HD Theater, Mark Cuban's HDNet and HDNet Movies.

Comcast, meanwhile, will make HDTV programming available this week to about 100,000 subscribers in Augusta, Ga., reports The Augusta Chronicle. There, Comcast will offer HD versions of HBO and Showtime and feeds from the local ABC, CBS and NBC affiliates.

Comcast also announced Wednesday the launch of HDTV to more than 500,000 customers in Connecticut, offering programming from PBS, NBC, ESPN HD, HBO and Showtime.
