Just noticed that channel 10 has put on the PBS loop.  It's 7pm, Friday Sept 20th.

Yeah but what good is it if you don't know when it is on?  I know we've all probably seen it but it would be nice if we knew when it would be on.  It would be great way to introduce our friends to HDTV, the right way.  Most of that loop is pretty great seeing as it's all done with HighDef cameras and isn't converted from film on a film-chain. I've had friends comment that some of the Prime Time stuff on CBS is good but not as great as the PBS or HDNET stuff.

I agree it is addictive.  In fact, I called some friends at 7:15pm and invited them over.  They have a HDTV ready Sony TV so they were curious about how it would look.  I think it is safe to say they were blown away.  I hadn't seen everything they aired before either, so it was a treat for us as well.  They were in high def mode ever since 6:30pm and it's now 9:30pm right after they had to leave to go home.  So, I suspect it will be on til 10pm.

I know I will be giving another call to Ellis to thank him and share what happened at least with one viewer.  I will share your comments as well Gregg.

If anybody else has any other stories to share I would share them with him as well.

It does help to talk with the decision makers.  As I had previously mentioned, he was happy to get the feedback.

Cheers
