Anybody know of any? Looking for an open concept type between 100-300 bucks.

I went to, of all places, for my Mits WS-48511 for open air (no glass doors or lighting) A/V rack and got a nice-looking Bush Furniture model for $300-something, at Best Buy. Sometimes these  store chains can surprise you in quality and selection.

Bush Furniture, along with the Furniture Orders website and Diamond Case Designs are not all that pricey. It all depends on personal taste and A/V requirements. Avoid Bell-O as it is expensive and their cord-hiding systems are impractical in my opinion.:p

Hope that this helps at least a little.

It is such a pain to setup A/V equipment, even with good A/V furniture.

Another peculiar place to buy such a thing:  Menards.  They carry a very flexible system of "shelves" open on all four sides, that attach to four poles in many useful combinations. The number of shelves and their spacing is variable, and the poles have wheels, so you can roll the rack in and out of place.

Cord hiding is not part of the equation, however.  Since our equipment resides in a cubby, we didn't need that.

I prefer going to ACE Hardware and picking up the wire mesh rack parts there.  Get a couple flat black posts and the square shelves and you have a nice looking rack for your set top A/V stuffs.
