Great news about Time Warner's new channel 704, WTMJ-DT.  Thanks WTMJ for bringing HD to the masses!  Even the anti-TWC contingent must admit this is a good thing -- more HD viewers = more future HD programming for all.

Will the other locals catch up with WTMJ on cable soon?  Sorta surprised WDJT wasn't first...

WTMJ on TWC is a good thing... except..

TWC HAS TO ADVERTISE!!!! What good is it carrying HDTV when nobody knows about it. There are 3 people I met who had HD monitors and I had to TELL them about HDTV on TWC. Well, first I tried getting them to go to DirecTV, but after being scared away by the $450 price tag, I let them know about TWC.

HDTV is going to take longer than ever if every company involved treats it like a dirty little secret.

Alright!!!  So far the only thing I can watch in HD is the Sopranos.  NBC primetime in HD, that is great!

Gee the last time I watched the Sopranos (granted it's been a while) they were not in HighDef but was letterboxed.....
