Don't get me wrong... I am not disappointed...but I was looking forward to seeing Melissa Stark in HD.  Anyone know what happened to her?

Todd Wiedemann

She left to have a baby ... I believe that she's going to work on the Today show, next.

Randy Spaulding

Anyone having reception problems? Seems like signal strength is lower than normal. I'm out in West Bend.

Now I just need an HD Tivo. This is why I spent the money on this TV and receiver!!

drgingras

Pay close attention, Fox - this is why digital needs to be done in 720p:D :D :D :D

BTW, nice to see some of the local spots hyping the HD. Spread the word !

Anyone else hearing the raindrops in the rear speakers???? HA! Cool!

gb4fan92

yeah I was going to run and close my windows and realized it was the speakers! (well it coulda been!)
A Football rain delay?? Sure it had to be a Packer game!

torgo

I thought that it was someone tapping on my wall, until I hit the Mute button.

Did Selig call the game....oh wait a minute this isn't baseball and that wasn't the All Star Game!

Waited 3 weeks for some meaningful rainfall in our area. Tried the usual surefire raindances: washing the car, hanging laundry outside, even picknicing.

Guess I shoulda put the plasma out in the yard:rolleyes:

Short but sweet!

The explanation from ABC for the SD format for the first 20 minutes:

QuoteExactly at 8pm ET, at the top of the show, a interfering carrier came up on the backhaul satellite path from Canton to ABC New York and interfered with HDTV backhaul signal. You may have seen a few seconds of digital hash before the ABC HD release facility went to an upconverted version of the Standard Definition network feed. The interference cleared at approx 8:05pm, but we chose to stay on the upconverted feed until the cause of the interference could be identified. At approx 8:20 we learned the source of the interference and had assurances that it would not be repeated, and went to the HD feed.
