Clarification on DVR Pricing

Several e-mails were sent concerning SkyREPORT's story on DISH Network fees for DVRs, including clarifications on fees for the TiVo service.

As reported, the stand-alone TiVo service has a $12.95 monthly fee. The product also has a $299 product lifetime fee option.

Consumers who subscribe to DirecTV and own a TiVo DVR have two payment options: A $4.99 monthly subscription fee; or free TiVo Service for customers who subscribe to DirecTV's Total Choice Premier package.
