Does anyone know if 18-1 digital will broadcast in HD in the near future?

Tom Snyder

Either the same time 6-1 goes full power, or when hell freezes over...whichever comes later.

Sinclair is the corporation which owns channels 18 and 24 (digital 25 and 61).  They owe us an explanation as to when they will join the rest of the digital world and broadcast the high definition signals that WB and UPN offer. Do these outfits have a general manager who live in Milwaukee?? Wisconsin?? or even the US??  This is the man who is supposed to interface with the general public and be the spokesman--so where is he?  Sinclair is happy to rake in the cash and suck the money out of this market and apparently happy to put nothing back in except what they are forced to.  I am tired of the silence coming from this outfit as to their plans and deadlines for providing service.  It's almost as if they were broadcasing in black and white and refused to go to color.  C'mon 18 and 24.  Talk to us, your viewers. Get some Kahones and let us know what your plans are.  They already are almost completely non local with their programming.  At least 18 will start a somewhat local news product but if this is the interest they have in the local community I doubt they'll succeed.
