DirecTV Cabling and connection

Not sure if I am in the right forum, but since I have this issue because of getting the oval DirecTV dish, here I am.

I had the dish put in some months ago, when I got the DTC-100 receiver.  Of course then...I didn't get an HDTV set.  Ok, I will someday.  

Anyway, I thought I only had 3 leads from the dish run into the house, but now it appears that I have all four from the multi-switch.  I checkid because I bought a TIVO/DirecTV receiver with....2 inputs.  SO, i tried taking the fourth lead and running it up to my TIVO room...no signal.

Is there anyone out there that can help me get this up and working?  I don't want to spend a mint...but DirecTV has given me a 50 buck allowance for this.  Again, it looks like the run is in the house, but I am getting no signal from it.  Let me know at dick@voices2u.com !!!
