Just read over at AVS that the Hall of Fame Game will be in HD and DD5.1 on ABC... if that's correct, then that means it's KC against the Green and Gold on Monday August 4th.

Is that cool or what?!?!?

Now that's cool...but if they lose for some reason I guess I shouldn't let my wife watch the game as she has a Nuclear Stress Test at 8AM the next morning.....doh!:bang:

Matt Heebner

I would think that with CBS, the Packers would be the "A" game,  and would garner the HD broadcast.  I am going to predict that anytime CBS has a Packers game, it will be HD.
Other than that, I'd say you are making a very good prediction.

Matt

Broncs and GB final game is definitely an A game.

But the "Maybe" is there for the 10/12 becuse it will depend on whether CBS wants to show a hot AFC team (Oakland or Tenessee), last season's Super Bowl Champions (Tampa), or the Packers.

Are you ready for some (HD) FOOOOTTTTTTBAAAAALLLLLLLL!

GS kid

I haven't heard anything..... but I would guess that CBS will only broadcast HD during the playoffs like last season. ABC's Monday Night Football is all HD this year. I can understand why ABC will make all it's games in HD. On Mondays it's the only game on and it's in prime time. That's good ratings and worth the cost of the HD production.

Tom Snyder

Although not officially confirmed, insiders are saying that CBS will broadcast 1 or 2 HD games every Sunday of the season. We've been told to watch for an offical announcment shortly.

Now, if only WISN will broadcast the hd feed from espn, for the local free version of the sunday night game.
