18-1 Signal Strength

Has anyone else noticed a significant drop in 18-1's signal strength?  The last few days or so, my signal strength for that station has been real low.  So low that there is occasional pixelation.  24-1 is still a very strong signal for me.  I thought these signals were coming from the same place.  If it's just me, I'll have to try moving my antenna.  If everyone is getting a low signal, I won't bother trying to move my antenna around.

Hello?  Anybody?  I guess it's too hot in my attic to try to tweak  the antenna anyway...

Neither 24 or 18 have any prorgamming that floats my boat... and although it's digital, it's not in HD, so, for me it's moot point. ;)

But I'll check it tonight.

I have always had problems picking up 18, while 24 has always been strong.  But I am with Tom, and don't care too much since neither channel puts out any HD programming.  (Sure doesn't take long to get spoiled by HD). :D

18-1 gives me a signal strength of of 88.

Thanks for the comments.  Last night the signal fluctuated for me when I checked.  At times it was poor and at times it was fine.  Even 12-1 fluctuated a bit.  Maybe it's weather related or something.  If it keeps up I will go up and adjust my antenna.  If 6-1 moves their signal source I will be able to be more direct anyway.  Maybe some day 18-1 will pass on the WB-HD programs.  I won't hold my breath though.

Thanks again for checking,

Finally checked 18's digital strength from out here in Hartland and it has dropped indeed!  Down to 22 and unwatchable.  But then some would say 18 is unwatchable under any circumstances.  They must have had a transmitter problem and Sinclair is scouring the local Radio Shacks for parts.

Thanks for checking.  Their signal strength was back to normal for me when I checked last night.  I think it's weather related for me, but I can't be sure.  Normal is still a weak signal, similar to what I get from 6-1.  Under perfect conditions there are no problems, but slightly poor reception conditions wreck their weak signals quickly.
