It seems that more and more people have this new reciever. How do I get ahold of one? All previous threads I've seen involves driving to the Kenosha office. I'd like to get one so I'd be able to control my aspect ratio.

The tech/customer service center in Greenfield should have some if it's any closer to you --- 5475 W Abbott Ave.
A good source of mine informed me that the aspect control graphics/text in the Pioneer setup menu now work properly as well.  It used to show just a few dots ..

Thanks mhz40, that's definitely much closer than Kenosha. I'll give them a try.

Can anyone verify if the Pioneer has an optical audio out?

Coax only.  I've seen documentation that Pace is planning a unit that has both coax & optical AC3 interface.  No release date yet.
