I have contacted DirecTV about the Sat C kit and they told me I had to be a Showtime subscriber in order to get the kit for free.
Has this happened to anyone else? Just curious.
ALSO, when I asked the service rep about the HDTV package, she had no idea what I was talking abut. This did not surprise me, but I was wondering if anyone else had this problem. If so, what would be the best way to get in touch with someone from DirecTV about ordering this package at the end of the month?

Thanks in advance for any assistance in this matter.

Show time is the only HD station on sat c, There is a new HD package comming out 7/1/03, has espn disc theater, and some others, I would think that will be moved to sat c, because of band width problems, If you really want it you can install it at a cost of around 49 to 59 dollars, radio shack sells them as well as bestbuy ext,DTV will provide it for free when your package needs it. Cost of new package is around 11.00, Hope this helps.

I understand that right now only Showtime is on Sat c. I won't go to Radio Shack since I got my Sat C kit for free. My question was, when I asked DirecTV about the upcoming HDTV package, they had no idea what I was talking about. So should I ask to speak to someone more informed about the HDTV package available July 1st, or is there someone in particular that I may want to ask for.

I'll sort this out eventually.

Thanks All!

ESPN, HDNet Movies and Discovery Theatre will probably be on 110.
