I guess TW is coming out with a DVR that can record HD. Tim C has an article in todays JS.  Oh, by the way, he was on KTI this AM around 7:40. I heard part of his interview.  He uses his famous line " for the 9 people who have HDTV.....".  What a JAG OFF!

Yep. We have 430 registered members, here. He has some agenda that I can't figure out.

I wonder if embracing the "new" technology and promoting it would add viewers ?

You'd think that as an allegedly credible media outlet, he'd want to do the work to ascertain just how many HDTV sets have actually been sold in Southeastern Wisconsin.  

But I guess it's easier to just sit around watching TV instead and just periodically parade out that same old tired, irrelevant and misleading statistic of HD cable boxes.

Maybe we just need to do our own market resarch survey to ascertain just how many HDTV sets have been sold in Southeastern Wisconsin.

We'd need to contact someone at the major retailers: Best Buy, Circuit City, American, Colder's and Flanner's.  

Anyone want to volunteer?

Your company, Journal Communications, tranmits HD service and I am SURE they want their readers to hear GOOD things about it.
If I were them, I'd fire you!

Actually, Tim MAY have been speaking in euphemisms. Reitman and Mueller joke all the time about their 7 listeners. But they have a probably actually have a weekly cume of over 100,000 listeners.

9 is more than 25% greater than 7.

So if HDTV actually has 25% more viewers than Reitman and Mueller have listeners, then there should be over 125,000 of us!

And that ain't bad.
