Christie (Booth 1010) is launching its first single-chip DLP front screen projector, the Christie DS30. At a mere 6.6 pounds, the DS30 delivers outstanding high resolution graphics and video images for applications ranging from architectural, biotech modeling and engineering presentations to high impact entertainment and retail visuals found in clubs, bars and restaurants.

"We're constantly striving to expand our projection offerings to provide the most powerful range of solutions for sophisticated AV presentations," says Neil Wittering, senior product manager, Advanced Display Solutions. "The DS30 marks a new projection category for Christie providing 'big box performance' in a compact package."

Not only is the DS30 Christie's most lightweight projector, it's also the world's first SXGA resolution single-chip DLP projector and the brightest using single-chip DLP technology. This compact projector offers high resolution (1280x1024) with 3000 ANSI lumens and a contrast ratio of 1000:1.

The DS30 is specially designed for applications requiring superb detail and high resolution in graphic displays and video. Its low noise level of 28dB makes it a perfect choice for conference and presentation rooms. With a sealed optical engine, the DS30 is ideal for dusty or smoky environments such as bars and clubs.
