To bring my HD box.

Any questions I should ask?

Anything I should have the tech do?

test the signal strength??

The question I asked them was:

"How come the picture quality is so crappy on this channel? and this one? and this one?"

They are selling a product. You are the customer. Think through a typical viewing week and make sure you go to every single channel you typically watch with the guy there. If the PQ is unacceptable, make him make the PQ acceptable.  

It's not your job to be the expert and know that the line level is low at the box, or that you need an amplifier. It's theirs.  

Don't settle! Don't rationalize. Don't let them off the hook. You spent too much on your TV!


P.S. Even if you don't watch Fox News, tune in to channel 48 to see if it has gotten any better lately and let me know...last time I saw it it was washed out and severely grainy). I can't imagine that Time Warner/AOL/CNN would purposely be making the picture crappy on a competitor who's kicking their butts.
