QuoteYOU CAN SEE THE BALL

Assuming the rain clears up, the tiny but growing slice of TV viewers who can receive high-definition television will be able to see this year's Masters golf tournament in the new ultra-sharp format.

Today's telecast on the USA Networks simulcasts at 3 p.m. on Channel 534 for Time Warner digital cable subscribers with a high-definition box and an HD-ready TV.

CBS is also covering the Masters in high-definition, and you can see that network's broadcast starting at 3 p.m. on digital Channel 505. It's also scheduled to air Saturday at 2:30 p.m. and Sunday at 1:30 p.m.

All these times may change because of the rain, which looks much wetter in high-definition.

It's also available over the air on 58's digital channel.

And the early rounds on DirecTV (Ch 198) and Dish Network (Ch 9425)

What I thought might happen is......TWC cable gets the only mentions in the media for getting HD signals.  And from some of the other threads I see they're doing a bang up job of customer service.  OTA is still viable and get this....no waiting for new digital signals.  At least mention the other ways to receive.....

You know, at least from my perspective, he doesn't need to be a cheerleader, but lay off the sarcastic comments.

It's plain childish.

Yup, no waiting for new digital signals OTA.  Fox-HD.... no waiting. Next!...   :bang:

Oops, you've got a point.  I missed that because I get my Fox from 47/digital 11 out of Madison.  Since WCGV or WVTV don't really have any real HD content I guess that it doesn't matter anyway for them if they're on cable or not.  Oh well......
