Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc. has begun shipping its new Voyager 3510HD digital box to Time Warner Cable.

Pioneer did not say how many units it is contracted to ship to the MSO, which is offering HDTV to the majority of its digital cable customers.

Among its features, the 3510HD handles all 16 ATSC formats supported by the cable industry, including 720p, 1080i, and 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios, Pioneer said. The box also supports graphics over HD video, including programming descriptions and other elements supported by the embedded interactive program guide.

I hope West Allis gets a few of these. I have a standing order waiting for one.
