Another case for HDTV?

I just watched another powerful episode of The Guardian on 1-1.

Before HDTV, I had never had much use for network TV... been a news junkie mostly.. CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, etc.

Shortly after 58 went HDTV, I was just checking out what was on in HDTV, and discovered this gem. I haven't missed an episode since.

It's a show that I would heve NEVER even considerd watching were it not for HDTV. I know one new viewer doesn't matter to the networks, or even the local afiliates.

But it matters to me, and maybe that counts to them for something.

I will say that this fall's lineup for CBS looks VERY strong, all new shows being produced in HD. CSI:Miami and Boomtown, and Robbery Homicide Division are some of the few newer shows to premier. Almost can't wait...more HD, more HD!!!!

I boycotted CBS58 for over one year after the SuperBowl foul-up... (A CBS station in Denver managed to strike a deal with a PBS station to air the SuperBowl in HD.) Since 58DTV has been on the air I have been finding gems like CSI... And I HATE Raymond, but he looks good in HDTV!
Thanx Hall and Co. !!!!!!!!
