I just got a new Tivo installed from DirecTV and the guy installed another line from the switch. The problem I have still is that the 18x24 dish that mounts on the side of the house won't let me get the Sat B signal. The corner of the house blocks the lower part of the dish I guess. No the lnb but the dish part. The installler said it would have to be mounted on the roof and the arm would have to be straight. Anybody else have an elliptical dish mounted on the side of the house? This sucks cause I don't want to drill into the roof.

There is no reason at all why you can't mount on the side of a house...on a pole, on a tower...anyplace you want.....as long as you have a clean line-of-sight from the whole dish to the satellites.  Oval dishes have 3 settings...azimuth, elevation and tilt....if they are set correctly it doesn't matter what your mounting surface is.

I have ran into a similiar problem myself. I used to have a single lnb dish and it worked for me nicely at 96%. When I upgraded to Triple LNB I ran into problems getting B/C satellite. I ended up moving the dish to get the reception. Unlike single LNB, that only needs a clear line of opening, dual LNB's require about 15 to 20 degree ark of open space/line of sight.  So having even the smallest tree within that ark can cause alot of problems.
