For those of you who didn't watch the Monday Late Night w/David Letterman show, something is new. After coming off a week off, Letterman at the begining of the show made a mention of the new HD cameras they installed during his vacation and are now using. They then zoomed in to the side of one of the cameras and it's the same Canon HD cameras they use on Leno. He then went on to joke about the fact they are HD cameras, but that they aren't using them in HD. He then had them do a split screen of a picture of him with the old cameras and the new ones. He then asked his bandleader Paul if he can see a difference. Paul replied that he looks more tan in the new cameras. He then joked later that the HD cameras don't seem to be making the show any funnier. He mentioned no more about it.
This has got to mean Late Night in HD at some point!!!! Jim Hall or anybody hear any timetable?!?!
I haven't been watching HD for over a month. My Proscan PS38000's power supply blew and just got that fixed last week. Now that the power is on, the tech noticed that an IC chip needs to be replaced. Should have it fixed tommorow! Thank goodness for service plans!!!------ GS kid

On AVS Forum, there has been rumours of Letterman in HD, and somewhat confirmed by "in the know" people who visit there. I will presume that we might be seeing Letterman in HD this fall, along with all the new shows. I know that there are a lot of Letterman fans here, but not my wife. I guess I will be stuck watching Leno....time to get another HDTV!!!
