Dual HDTV inputs????

I currently have DirectTV but am getting fed up screwing around with the OTA for the locals all the time. So I decided to invest in TW local channels HDTV package in addition to DirectTV. Then I realized  I have a problem. MY TV only has ONE 1080i Input. I got numerous Component Inputs but they are only for 480i/p I tried hooking up my HDTV receiver to that input and got no picture. So it's safe to assume that TW receiver will only work in HD on my one single input.
So the question is how can I hook up both DTV high def receiver and TW high def receiver to the single input.  Perhaps Time Warner has a device for it??? If not does anyone know of A/B switches or splitters for YPrPb cabling?

Looks like I'm not the only one that ran into this problem. Someone already came up with a solution.
It's actually pretty sweet, check it out.

It basically comes down to what you want. Both of those will allow for more than one. The AA1154 works by pre-set priorities and the unit then does everything automatically. I have one with Gamecube @1, PS2 @2, LD/DVD @3 and HTPC @4. Normally, the 1st,2nd, and 3rd priorities aren't in use so it goes to number four. It lets me keep the HTPC running and not worry about using other items. I have Receiver switching DVD/CableHD on my 2nd HD input.

The Inday allows for remote switching. I didn't need it or necessarily find it useful in may case but on a single HD input it may be more useful.

There is also another new unit from ??? that is believed to be technically better than the above two. I don't remember much about it.

I have the AA 1154 also.  It does do the job.  It is some what bulky and I have not found a good spot in the rack for it yet.  I have an unused component input on the projector, but the switcher is cheaper and easier than pulling another 25 feet of component cable.  The technically better units I have seen run $700 and more.  Commercial grade.

Thanks for the replies. I think I will go with 1154 then.
How well does the input autosensinsing functions? Does it work flawlessly or do you still have to manually override it? What happens when you have 2 or more devices turned on  at the same time? Thx.

The unit will take signals in order of priority 1 through 4.  If you have a feed you always leave on you want to put that in number 4. Then anything else you turn on will override that unit.
