SECAUCUS, N.J. - HDTV has arrived in the NBA.

NBA TV, the league' 24-hour network, will televise NBA playoff games in high-definition television.

The network, scheduled to carry up to seven playoff games, will also feature two regular-season games in HDTV, it said Tuesday. The games are Houston at New Jersey on Monday and New York at Washington on April 14.

Both games could have playoff implications. Yao Ming and his Rockets are vying for a postseason berth. Michael Jordan and his Wizards take on the Knicks, with both teams in playoff contention
