Just checked out HDTVGalaxy... Peter Pan is on Wonderful World of Disney in 720p & DD5.1.......... Damn WISN for taking too long. Don't suppose any Madison viewers would care to watch for a little bit tonight and let us now how it looked/sounded?

I watched the first hour on WLS Channel 7-1 out of Chicago (Don't get any Madison stations).  The sound was excellent and the picture was very good.  Unlike the James Bond movies on Saturday night, it was not HD but still easy on the eyes.  For some reason, some of the picture on the sides and the bottom/top was missing..not much, but a little.  Haven't seen that before on 7-1.  Some the commercials looked awfully good as well but not true HD.  The James Bond movies on Saturday nights have been awesome.  Drew Carey show is also first rate HD.  I watch on a 65" Toshiba and am thankful for a STB (Toshiba 3000) that pulls in the Chicago stations.  Sounds like you Milwaukee folks are missing some great HD progamming available from the Chicago stations.  Channel 11-1 (Chicago PBS) has some pretty good HD programming as well..I believe more than what I've seen on 10-1.  The Chicago FOX affiliate, 31-1, makes Channel 6 out of Milwaukee look sick.  Hopefully you'll soon see the Milwaukee stations catch up to Chicago.  I can't speak for Cable in Racine as I've never had it.  My little Radio Shack antenna on the roof and my rotor are all I need but I do hope that Channel 1-1 (58) turns up the power soon as, on some summer nights, their signal fades now and then.

I just read over at AVSForum that the movie wasn't in HD. It shouldn't have been widescreen as its OAR was 1.33:1, but even still, one ABC affiliate posted that they didn't receive anything on their HD feed during the broadcast.
